As the name suggests, this famous trailhead is situated 82 kilometres along the railway from Cuzco, on the way to Aguas Calientes and Machu Picchu. You can board a train to Kilometer 82 at Poroy Station in Cuzco, which is approximately 18 kilometres from the city centre.
