Is staccato worth it.

One of my carry pieces is the single stack version. Great shooter and light. 8 + 1 is plenty enough for me, if not I have the wilson x9s that accepts 15+1 in a subcompact package that will outshoot the staccato. Both great carry pistol that shoot really great. I like the c2 but I'm thinking of getting rid of it. Is the Staccato worth the premium over a Prodigy. The only thing that matters to me is out of the box reliability and accuracy. I’ll make everything else, trigger, grip, overall weight the way I want. Just can’t see how the Staccato is worth an extra grand. The DVC, being a 2011, is a much more niche market where consumers will tolerate higher prices. A good 2011 mag is probably the cost of 3 single stack mags. The Staccato is their entry level gun. If you want a double stack 1911/2011 - you’re really limited to custom or Para/Bul/RIA, the Staccato is really the best choice (imho) for the money. Mine loves to 124 grain the best. If this is a carry gun, I would vote for Aluminum. If for range and training, I would choose the Staccato P steel frame.
